Mortal Kombat...oh good times.

GoldenEye kind of already had that achievement for the proximity mines, the 'lemming award'. Though it wasn't that specific. Still, real clever all around.

You have "Unlocked" when you mean "Locked". "Unlocked" means you've received the achievement while you mean the opposite.

On Duck Hunt, I would have liked an achievement award for shooting that snooty dog! ;-D

Most of these aren't things that could actually be recognized by the game. Way to fail at your own premise. This was just a lame excuse for the writers to spout tired, generic misanthropic nostalgia.

"Most of these aren't things that could actually be recognized by the game. Way to fail at your own premise. This was just a lame excuse for the writers to spout tired, generic misanthropic nostalgia." Yeah, a lot of them are about playing games with friends which you obviously don't have.

To MR. Phil Bond above ^^^ Maybe you should look at which website you are actually on before posting some ridiculous sophomoric rant. It was meant to be funny.....not factual. GJ on letting that one take a hop, skip and jump right over your head. The website motto is "Funny Gaming News"......not "Hypothetically Boring News"

I remember playing oregon trail in third grade, and the "don't name the members of your group a swear word" achievment was still impossible... ^^

"Most of these aren't things that could actually be recognized by the game. Way to fail at your own premise. This was just a lame excuse for the writers to spout tired, generic misanthropic nostalgia. " God, so what I was thinking. Vintage gaming used to be cool until Hot Topic started making T-Shirts.

@tehbronson "You have "Unlocked" when you mean "Locked". "Unlocked" means you've received the achievement while you mean the opposite. " No, actually. "Unlocked" means that you can achieve the achievement. "Locked" means the opposite, and "Achieved" should be obvious enough for you.
